Detailed description of goods and/or services

Wine at Home is an on-line wine store that supply wines to your door at cellar price within 7 working days of purchase with a free delivery service to the Southern Cape and Eastern Cape. Shoppers can search from our list of known producing partners with a wide range of cultivars and wine styles to choose from. Wine at Home has been designed to guide shoppers through a very user friendly on-line store which is easy and safe to use.

Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within 2 days and delivery confirmed by way of a booking number emailed to the client. Goods will be despatched and delivered within 7 working days. You must ensure that you have provided us with the correct delivery address and that there will be an authorised person at the address to sign for delivery.

A free delivery service is provided to account holders in the Southern and Eastern Cape. For account holders in outlying areas, an additional charge for delivery will be calculated to your purchase amount.

Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods by is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, will refund the client in full within 5 days. Where a product is found to be damaged or defective you must notify us within 7 working days after delivery by email quoting your invoice number. At our discretion we may replace the faulty item or refund the price. We are unable to replace items or issue refunds until returned products have been received and inspected. No replacement or refund will be issued where:

  • Products are returned after the 7 day time limit
  • Products are damaged due to misuse or negligence

If you are returning items faulty on delivery we will reimburse in full. If you are returning goods for any other reason, return shipping costs are not refundable.


You may cancel an order by email or telephone within 24 hours of placing an order. After 24 hours we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee of 10% of the price. Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatch has occurred.

Customer privacy policy shall take all necessary measures to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

Payment may be made via Visa or MasterCard credit cards, bank transfer or PayPal.

Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site.

Responsibility takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods. Support Details
